IB Math AA HL Predicted Papers for November 2026
Six full Analysis & Approaches HL sets — a non-calculator Paper 1, a calculator Paper 2 and a Paper 3 of two extended problem-solving questions — each with a full worked mark scheme, built by our team led by Mr Ejaz from every AA HL paper since 2021 and the real May 2026 exams.
If you sit IB Math Analysis & Approaches HL this November, you already know it is the most demanding route on the Diploma: a non-calculator Paper 1 that rewards clean algebra and proof, a calculator Paper 2, and a Paper 3 that drops you into two long, unfamiliar problem-solving questions. Our AA HL predicted papers let you rehearse exactly that — six complete sets, in real IB style, before you sit the real thing.
Here is what is in the AA HL sets, why AA needs papers written for its proof-and-calculus style (not adapted from AI), and how our team — led by Mr Ejaz — builds them from the data rather than guesswork.
What you get for AA HL
- Six full sets, each containing Paper 1 (non-calculator, 110 marks), Paper 2 (calculator / GDC, 110 marks) and Paper 3 (two extended problem-solving questions, 55 marks) — mirroring the real exam exactly, including the non-calculator Paper 1.
- A full worked mark scheme for every question, with method marks shown the way an examiner awards them — not just the final answer.
- Set 1 is free — a complete set, no card, so you can judge the quality first.
- The remaining five sets unlock with a one-time US$100 for AA HL. (AA SL is a separate unlock.)
Why Paper 3 matters most. AA HL Paper 3 is two sustained, unfamiliar investigations that build a result step by step — the paper students feel least ready for, because you cannot revise a question you have never seen. Each of our six sets includes two fresh P3 questions with clean, IB-style diagrams — graphs, Argand diagrams and 3D vector sketches — so you practise the one paper you can least afford to meet cold. See our AA HL Paper 3 preparation guide.
AA HL is its own exam — so the papers are built for AA
AA predicted papers cannot just be AI papers with the context stripped out. Analysis & Approaches is abstract, algebraic and calculus-heavy, and half of it is examined without a calculator:
- Proof — induction, proof by contradiction, and disproof by counterexample.
- Complex numbers — modulus–argument form, De Moivre’s theorem and roots of unity.
- Calculus in depth — implicit differentiation and related rates, integration by substitution and by parts, volumes of revolution, differential equations and the Maclaurin series.
- Vectors — lines and planes in three dimensions, intersections and distances.
A non-calculator Paper 1 means the algebra has to be clean by hand — exactly what our Paper 1 sets drill. If you are still choosing your route, our AA vs AI guide lays out the difference.
Where the marks actually live — AA HL
We tagged the full AA HL question bank by topic, paper and mark. The exam is lopsided, and knowing where tells you where to practise. Calculus is the single heaviest strand — it anchors both Paper 1 and Paper 2 — followed by Functions & Equations, Trigonometry, Complex Numbers & Proof, Sequences & Series (the binomial theorem and Maclaurin), Vectors, and Probability & Statistics. Our AA HL paper analysis has the full mark-by-mark breakdown, and the sets are weighted to match it.
How we build the predictions
1. We read every recent AA HL paper
We tagged every AA HL Paper 1, 2 and 3 question from 2021 to 2025 by topic and mark allocation to produce a marks-weighted map of what the exam rewards — then designed each set so the full syllabus is swept across the six.
2. We forecast November, not an average exam
November papers do not behave like May. The big questions that anchor a May Paper 2 tend to anchor November too, so we forecast each slot from the recurring heavyweight topics rather than blending sessions into a mush.
3. We check against the real exams
When the May 2026 papers were released we scored our method against them. That feedback loop is why these are predictions with a track record. For the official framework, the IB publishes its own Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches outline.
4. We write like the IB — including clean diagrams
Every question is original, in exact IB wording and difficulty, with mark schemes that show each method mark. Graphs, Argand diagrams, 3D vector sketches and calculus area/volume figures are drawn to match the look of the real papers.
Mr Ejaz has taught IB Mathematics in Singapore for over a decade. The predicted papers are the same analysis he uses with his own AA HL classes — written down and made available to you.
Two ways to use them
Self-study — US$100. Sit each paper under timed conditions and mark it against the worked scheme. Set 1 is free; all six AA HL sets are a one-time US$100. (AA SL is a separate unlock.)
AI self-marking — US$299 (coming soon). Upload a photo or PDF of your working and get it graded against our scheme: a clear score, where the marks slipped, and what to fix — the feedback a tutor gives on a mock, the moment you finish.
At a glance — AA HL
- Free — Set 1 (P1 + P2 + P3), no payment.
- US$100 — all six AA HL sets, papers + full mark schemes, one-time (AA SL is a separate unlock).
- US$299 — six sets plus AI self-marking (coming soon).

Frequently asked questions
Do the AA HL predicted papers include Paper 3?
Yes. Every one of the six sets includes a full Paper 3 with two extended problem-solving questions (55 marks in total), each with a worked mark scheme — the paper AA HL students most want to rehearse.
Is Paper 1 really non-calculator?
Yes. AA Paper 1 is sat without a calculator; Paper 2 and Paper 3 are calculator-active (GDC). Our sets mirror that split exactly, so your Paper 1 practice trains clean algebra by hand.
How accurate are the AA HL predicted papers?
They are built from a marks-weighted reading of every AA HL paper 2021 to 2025 and the real May 2026 exams. No one can guarantee the exact questions, but your practice lands where the marks most reliably fall.
How much do they cost, and is anything free?
Set 1 is free with no card. All six AA HL sets are a one-time US$100 (AA SL is a separate unlock). An optional US$299 tier adds AI self-marking (coming soon).
How is IB Math AA different from AI?
AA is abstract and calculus-heavy with a non-calculator Paper 1 and topics such as proof, complex numbers and vectors, while AI is calculator-active on every paper and built around real-world modelling.
