Programmes we teach
Photon Academy is a specialist tuition centre at 5 Tank Road, Fort Canning. We teach the International Baccalaureate Diploma, the pre-IB programmes taught at international and local schools, and offer a free resource library for IB Math AA HL and IB Physics HL students.
New — 44 free IB cheatsheets for IB Math AA HL & IB Physics HL. No signup. Hand-built by Mr Ejaz (IBO-certified, 15+ years).
Singapore IB pathways
Mr Ejaz Ahmad specialises in teaching students from SOTA (School of the Arts), SJI (St. Joseph's Institution) and ACS(I) (Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)). Each school sets its own end-of-year exams, promos and prelims in its own format before the IB in November. Students at international schools follow the same IB track to May.
Singapore IB students arrive at the IB Diploma through three pre-IB pathways and sit exams in one of two sessions. Photon Academy teaches across all of them — from IP school-internal exams to IGCSE, MYP, and both Nov and May IB sessions.
| School | Year 3–4 (IP) | Year 5 (DP1) | Year 6 (DP2) | The IB |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SOTA | End-of-year maths mocks in SOTA's format | End-of-year-style AA HL mock sets | Prelim practice, Maths and Physics | IB, November |
| SJI | Year 4 end-of-year maths mocks and IP worksheets | Physics mock sets in SJI's format | Prelim-style Physics sets | IB, November |
| ACS(I) | IP foundations for the IB courses | Promo-style AA HL mock sets | Prelim practice, Maths | IB, November |
| International schools | IGCSE or MYP | DP1 topic tests | Mock exams | IB, May |
Photon Academy teaches every stage on both tracks — IP, IGCSE, MYP, and IB DP.
