AI HL is its own exam — so the papers are built for AI
AI predicted papers cannot just be AA papers with the numbers changed. Applications & Interpretation has a toolkit AA never touches, and it is examined heavily at HL:
- Matrices, eigenvalues and Markov chains — transition models, steady states, long-run behaviour.
- Graph theory — adjacency matrices, trees, shortest paths, the Chinese-postman and travelling-salesman ideas.
- Differential equations by slope fields and Euler’s method, plus coupled systems and phase portraits.
- Complex numbers as phasors, 3D vectors, Voronoi diagrams and affine transformations.
Every question is written expecting the GDC — regression and R², distributions, matrix powers, numeric integration, eigenvalues — exactly as the real AI HL papers do.
Where the marks actually live — AI HL
We tagged the full AI HL question bank by topic, paper and mark. The exam is lopsided, and knowing where tells you where to practise. On AI HL the heaviest strands are Probability & Distributions, 3D Geometry & Mensuration, Integration, Trigonometry and Functions & Modelling, followed by the HL toolkit — Graph Theory, Matrices/Markov, Differential Equations and Vectors — which is where Paper 2’s long questions cluster. How we build the predictions
1. We read every recent AI HL paper
We tagged every AI HL Paper 1 and Paper 2 question from 2021 to 2025 by topic and mark allocation to produce a marks-weighted map of what the exam rewards — then designed each set so the full syllabus is swept across the six.
2. We forecast November, not an average exam
November papers do not behave like May. The big questions that anchor a May Paper 2 tend to anchor November too, so we forecast each slot from the recurring heavyweight topics rather than blending sessions into a mush.
3. We check against the real exams
When the May 2026 papers were released we scored our method against them. That feedback loop is why these are predictions with a track record. For the official framework, the IB publishes its own Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation outline.
4. We write like the IB — including clean diagrams
Every question is original, in exact IB wording and difficulty, with mark schemes that show the GDC steps. Graphs, circuit-style figures, Voronoi grids, phase portraits and 3D sketches are drawn to match the look of the real papers.

Do the AI HL predicted papers include Paper 3?
Yes. Every one of the six sets includes a full Paper 3 with two 55-mark modelling investigations, each with a worked mark scheme — the paper AI HL students most want to rehearse.
Is a calculator allowed?
Yes — a graphic display calculator (GDC) is required on all three AI papers, and every predicted question is written expecting it, exactly like the real exam.
How accurate are they?
No one can guarantee the exact questions, and we never claim to. They are built from a marks-weighted reading of every AI HL paper 2021–2025 and the real May 2026 exams, so your practice lands where the marks most reliably fall.

How is AI different from AA?
AI is calculator-active on every paper and built around real-world modelling — matrices and Markov chains, graph theory, differential equations by slope fields and Euler, complex numbers, Voronoi and vectors — where AA is more abstract and has a non-calculator Paper 1.
